Audio or Video in the Publish tab has controls you can use to make an audio or video file of the talking book being read or a video of a sign language book. Books can have music and motion.
Click
Audio or Video.
Click the Format down arrow (
) and then click the format you want (
Facebook,
Feature Phone,
YouTube or
Mp3 Audio).
Mp3 Audio is unavailable if there is no talking book audio.
Information about the video appears in a colored box.
The video size will be based on the format you have selected and limited by the size of your screen.
Note: If your screen is 1920 x 1080 and you chose the
YouTube format, there will be no room for a white bar for the recording window and therefore no X in the corner. If you need to stop the recording and close the window, right-click over the recording window.
Click and drag the Turn pages without narration after slider (
) until you see the desired number of seconds.
If your book has motion, you can select (
) Motion Book so the video recording includes that motion.
Click and drag the Record these pages slider (
) until you see the desired page number below the slider.
Configure & PreviewIf your book uses more than one language, do these steps:
Click
(Choose Language) to open the Languages in this book dialog box.
Select (
) the language you want to use in the audio or video.
Click CLOSE.
Click
to play a book preview.
If necessary, move the Turn pages without narration after slider (
) to change the number seconds between those pages.
Click
to pause the preview.
Click
if you need to play the book from the beginning again.
Make RecordingClick
RECORD.
A small window opens.
When the recording is finished, the window closes automatically.
Check Recording
Click
PLAY RECORDING.
Your default viewer window opens and plays the recording.
Save
Click
SAVE.
Click the folder where you want to save the file.
Click Save.
